Once the Lease is Signed Sarah is in for the Long Haul with David Marmor's 1BR (out April 24th)

1BR had its World Premiere in Montreal, in the Summer of 2019; this film fan was there - at Fantasia. Now, 1BR is getting set for a wide Digital release, through Dark Sky Films. A limited theatrical release is unlikely as tragic events unfold worldwide. A film from David Marmor, Sarah (Nicole Brydon Bloom) moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams. However, she has picked the wrong apartment as residents reveal themselves to be something sinister. Along with actress Bloom, Giles Matthey (Ford v Ferrari), Naomi Grossman ("American Horror Story"), Taylor Nichols and Alan Blumfeld. A U.S. film poster and trailer are available, ahead of the film's late April release.

1BR is a film that welcomes the viewer in to its cast of characters. At the mid-point of the film, it becomes clear that these characters are in league with each other. Sarah begins to doubt her own mind as strange events and sounds occur all around her. Horror fans, not afraid of mild spoilers, can read more on 1BR in the 28DLA review on below.

Dark Sky Films will show 1BR this April 24th. There are tentative plans to show this title in a couple of locations. However, this is unlikely to happen as quarantines pop-up across America. Still, 1BR is a great indie film and worth a shot on Digital platforms. Cinephiles can expect 1BR to show on their favourite Digital platforms, on the date mentioned above.

Release Date: April 24th, 2020 (Digital).

Director/writer: David Marmor.

Cast: Naomi Grossman, Alan Blumenfeld, Giles Matthey
