An Early Poster for The House of Snails Debuts a Foggy Location

The House of Snails is an upcoming international thriller. From Spain, Peru and Mexico, this film looks at a writer, living in a remote Summer house. Here, Antonio hopes to find inspiration; instead, he uncovers a mystery, in the local town. As well, this title stars: Javier Rey (Get Her... If You Can), Paz Vega (Spanglish), Carlos Alcantra and Norma Martinez. A poster was released for the film recently, along with story details.

The synopsis also mentions a blurring between reality and fiction. As writer Antonio draws more from those around him, his characters begin to take on a life of their own. A dark legend is uncovered. And, one secret leads to darkness.

The poster shows a foggy backdrop. Almost entirely in green hues, one child holds a mask and one light remains on in the house. Very spooky, this early poster reveals very little ahead of the film's potential 2021 release date.

Once post-production completes, a more specific release date will be announced. For now, the filmmakers expect to show the film, possibly in Spain first, before debuting the film internationally - next year.

Release Date: 2021.

Director: Macarena Astorga

Cast: Javier Rey, Paz Vega, Norma Martinez, Carlos Alcantara.
