Gags the Clown Returns for More Laughs and Horror this September 3rd: First Trailer

Tagline: "The Joke's On Us..."

Gags the Clown is based on a short film from 2016. Adam Krause has directed both titles. His latest, Gags the Clown, is based on a clown phenomenon in 2016, which involved several clown sightings across the United States. Krause's earlier short may have partially created this strange craze. This horror fan remembers these strange occurrences, being reported on the news. Now, Krause's short film has been turned into a feature. Taking place over one night, clowns begin to appear in a small Wisconsin town. Hysteria sweeps the city, leading to a clown hunt. Now, a trailer is available for Gags the Clown - below.

The trailer shows a news reporter investigating the clown craze. But, there is only one clown behind all of the initial madness. Vigilantes and police are searching for this masked terrorizer. Meanwhile, copycats are emerging. And, this clown army is not just about the laughs!

Production on the film began in 2017, shortly after the debut of the short film. Since then, Gags the Clown has shown at a few film festivals, including Cinepocalypse (World Premiere), in 2018. Now, this horror title is slated for a wide release this September. Doppelganger Releasing will handle the film's distribution.
