Rob Zombie's 3 From Hell Teases a Third Film in the House of 1000 Corpses Series

A teaser trailer has been released for Rob Zombie's 3 from Hell, today. This is the sequel to Zombie's other horror film The Devil's Rejects (2005). The film has completed all of the shooting. Currently, 3 from Hell is in post-production with the film likely to show in October of this year. This title brings back several familiar faces from the franchise, including: Sheri Moon Zombie (House of a 1000 Corpses, 2003), Sid Haig and Bill Moseley. Danny Trejo, Dee Wallace, Clint Howard and a few others round-out the cast. And, the teaser trailer will bring fans up on the franchise and the latest film.

Zombie has not spoken much of the film's story. He has mentioned that 3 from Hell is not a sequel: "I’ll just say it’s not a prequel. I’m making this movie 15 years after the last movie, so my cast is aging the wrong direction and I certainly didn’t replace them with other actors." A lot of the cast is getting into the finely aged category, with Haig in his early 80s. Zombie goes on to say that the cast really gelled together on the set: "my biggest fear of making this movie was the actors won’t have the vibe they had — it was almost spooky how much [they vibed.] It didn’t seem like it was 15 years later, it seemed like it was six months later." Horror fans and fans of the series can see the cast working together below.

3 from Hell has already been rated with a strong R. The Restricted rating comes from: bloody violence, language, sexual content and drug use. Lionsgate will release the film. And, more details and images will emerge closer to the film's expected, late 2019 release.

Release Date: Q4 2019, TBA.

Director/writer: Rob Zombie.

Cast: Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Danny Trejo, Dee Wallace, Austin Stoker, Clint Howard, Emilio Rivera and Jeff Daniel Phillips.
