Assassinaut Puts Four Explorers through a Meat Grinder in this Red Band Trailer

The indie sci-fi thriller Assassinaut is set to blast off this Summer. Epic Pictures will handle the release. In the film, aliens have invaded the Earth and four desperate astronauts are needed to save humanity. On a distant planet, they must deal with a new threat, a stalking assassin. This title was written and directed by Drew Bolduc. The film stars: Vito Trigo (Return to Nuke 'Em High), Jonathan Newport (Permanent), Shannon Hutchinson and several others. The film utilizes a lot of make-up effects. In the trailer, faces melt off or creatures are found within some of the characters. The assassin goes about his work, after the four astronauts land on the new planet. And, this quartet might not be prepared for what is coming next.

Epic Pictures will release Assassinaut in a couple of formats. To show on Digital and Blu-ray, this title will be available on July 30th. Called a "space-ial horror thriller (Epic)," Assassinaut has been rated Mature and has a runtime of eighty-three minutes. Part horror and part sci-fi, fans of independent features can preview the film here, before the mid-Summer release.
