Horror thriller, The Wicker Tree is being called a companion piece to the original 1973 film, The Wicker Man. Actor Christopher Lee stars in both films, but in this second film he will have a smaller role due to an injury. Have a look at the over-the-top clip below.
The synopsis for The Wicker Tree is here:
"The plot for the film centers on Beth and Steve, a gospel singer and her cowboy boyfriend, both Christian members of a no-sex-before-marriage pact they call 'the silver ring thing.' They leave Texas to preach door-to-door in Scotland. When, after initial abuse, they are welcomed with joy and elation to Tressock, the border fiefdom of the sinister Lachlan Morrison, they assume their hosts want to simply hear more about Jesus. How innocent and wrong they are" (Quiet).
Release Date: 2011.

Cast: Christopher Lee, Honeysuckle Weeks, Graham McTavish, Clive Russell, Callum Mitchell, Jacqueling Leonard, Henry Garrett, Ailidh Mackay, Keith Warwick, and James Mapes.
