The Unfamiliar is a horror thriller from the United Kingdom. Completed earlier this year, this title has been developed by South African director Henk Pretorius (Leading Lady). And, The Unfamiliar deals with an British Army doctor who returns from war, believing that she has PTSD. But, something else lurks in her new abode. This title is set for a Summer and Fall release, with Jemima West (The Borgias), Christopher Dane ("Eastenders") and Rebecca Hanssen starring. The film's new trailer is hosted here.
The clip shows a young woman at a piano. Events take a strange turn when the woman has an accident. Then, all sorts of shadows emerge from this isolated home.
The Unfamiliar will host several releases, internationally. First, the film will show in the United States, on August 21st (Digital). Then, this indie title will show in the United Kingdom on September 11th and in South Africa, this October 28th. Horror fans can view this supernatural thriller in just a few weeks, with a Restricted trailer below.
