Heavy Hitting Horrorfest 2019 is Ready, Set, Go for Submissions & Halloween Mountain Frights

The Heavy Hitting Horrorfest is all gore ahead up in Whistler, British Columbia. This event has been running for fifteen years now and has grown to be the largest and longest event in West of the Rockies. The town that's hosting is just right too; it's the hub for all things trending and the people who have had their works screened at this show have gotten further exposure of their works.

Producers, directors and performers far and wide come to this ski resort and shake it up! Media exposure includes outlets like Pique Newsmagazine and Rue Morgue Magazine. Vancouver's Bad Ass Film Festival is in full support and from there, the sky's the limit.

An art show is included along with workshops of this day-long event. Perhaps even more famous is the after party!

This event is ready to take in submissions of up to 10 minutes in length. They will be accepted up till 11:59pm on September 15th, 2019.

While some folks are enjoying the dog days of summer, others are already planning Autumn frights. The season of the witch is closer than some may think, and to get the spook on feels better to beat the heat.
