Punk Rock Thriller The Ranger Camps in Canada this January 22nd!

Black Fawn Distribution has just announced that they will release Jenn Wexler's The Ranger, in Canada. From writer Giaco Furino, the film is a punk rock slasher film, set in a remote wood. This title was developed by production companies: Hood River Entertainment and Larry Fessenden's Glass Eye Pix. The Canadian release will offer a special Blacklist Package, with collectibles and in a Blu-ray, DVD combo. As well, The Ranger stars: Chloe Levine (The Transfiguration), Jeremy Holm ("Mr. Robot"), Granit Lahu (The Sinner), Jeremy Pope and several others. The Ranger has already had a film festival run. This indie horror title has appeared at the SXSW Film Festival, in Austin. As well, The Ranger has had appearances at FrightFest, in the United Kingdom, along with showings at: Fantasia (Montreal), the Sydney Film Festival, Sitges (Spain) and many others. This title has truly had an international run.

In Canada, there will be at least three versions of the release. The Blacklist Package IV (members) will have an exclusive slip cover and a pair of Ranger aviator sunglasses and more. The second tier release, The Blacklist Package IV (non-members), will include 3 mini lobby cards, part of the Ranger's uniform and many other items, including some mentioned above. The third tier release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo, which includes many of the films special features. Some of those extras include a director's commentary and at least five behind-the-scenes featurettes.
