A Monster Borne of Nightmares is Revealed in this International Trailer for Harbinger Down

Tagline: "Terror is just beneath the surface."

Harbinger Down has a new trailer. The international trailer shows several of the practical creature effects, in better lighting. The latest trailer also appears clearer, than the first, which was released in June of 2014. As well, Harbinger Down was developed through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign and by Dark Dunes Productions. The film is currently in post-production, with a Summer release coming soon. Fans of sci-fi and horror can view the latest clip below.

In the story, several scientists venture into the Arctic. They are there to study global warming, but they find something strange. In the Bering Sea, the crew of the research vessel, dredge up a Russian cosmonaut. He is contaminated by a man-made organism, which wages war on the entire crew. With no escape, crew members must use fire and light to stay alive.

All of the effects in Harbinger Down are practical. Influenced by Alien (1979) and The Thing (1982), the creatures look born from man and from body parts. Truly terrifying, this title is on this film fans must-see list. More details below.

Release Date: August 7th, 2015 (Video-on-demand) and September 1st (DVD).

Director/writer: Alec Gillis.

Cast: Lance Henriksen, Camille Balsamo, Matt Winston, Giovonnie Samuels and Winston James Francis.
