You Can Take a Hike with Adam MacDonald's Backcountry in this First Trailer

Backcountry was filmed in Ontario, in 2013. The film is loosely based on a camping trip, taken by director Adam MacDonald. In the film, a stranger, a grizzly bear and the rugged terrain threaten a young couple. Also, Backcountry stars Missy Peregrym, Eric Balfour and Nicholas Campbell. The film's first trailer is hosted here.

The clip reveals more of the film's story. Jenn and Alex are hiking through the Canadian wilderness and having fun. But, stories of bears and then a meeting with a ferocious grizzly hamper their travelling plans. Their lives are in peril, with help hundreds of miles away.
