The Purge 2 Moves into Production!

The Purge did rather well at the box office. And now, a sequel has been ordered by Universal Pictures. This title has recently moved into production and an early concept poster is available for the film, which warns that there is "170 Days Until the Purge." This sequel will star Zach Gilford (The Last Stand), Michael K. Williams (The Road), Frank Grillo and Kiele Sanchez.

A synopsis has not been released for the Purge 2. However,the follow-up will likely involve another 12 hour suspension of police and emergency services. The chaos that follows will be revealed June 20th, 2014, when the film is released in theatres.
