Prepare to Scream with this Trailer for The Quiet Ones

Hammer Films has been making movies for three quarters of a century, now. They have seen a revival since 2007, when the company was bought by Cyrte. Hammer Films has released five films since 2007 and their latest is titled The Quiet Ones. This title was developed by director John Pogue (Ghost Ship) from Craig Rosenberg (The Uninvited) and Oren Moverman's script. The film stars Jared Harris (Natural Born Killers), Sam Claflin and Olivia Cooke in a paranormal thriller.

And now, a trailer has been release for the feature. The clip shows researchers performing experiments on a young girl, in order to create a poltergeist. A spirit is released, but it has its own sinister agenda.

Lionsgate Films picked up The Quiet Ones for distribution in North America, at this year's Cannes Film Festival. This title will release in theatres April 25th, 2014 through Lionsgate and horror fans are encouraged to take an early look at the film below.
