Pearry Teo Sets His Sights on Shedding Strange Blood December 2nd, 2013 in Tucson, Arrizona

Director Pearry Teo (Necromentia, Dead Inside) is set to produce his next horror film, with Chad Michael Ward helming the feature. Casting for the production has just begun. And, the new title is called Strange Blood. Teo will bring some of David Cronenberg's influence into the feature as Strange Blood promises to be a body horror feature, in the vein of Videodrome and The Fly.

The film's story involves a strange scientist. He hopes to develop a miracle cure for all potential diseases. Instead, he finds himself infected with a devastating parasite. With little time left to live, the protagonist must find a way to rid himself of the leech inside, or the rest of the world will become infected too.

A concept poster for Strange Blood is hosted above. The graphic offers a few interesting details. Compound B and TeoWard are two companies behind the production. Also, the biohazard symbol, with blood, promises that Teo and Ward will continue to develop this production firmly in the horror genre. More details are below.
