Producer Mem Ferda Talks About the Thriller Monumental

Stuart Page Films and several other production companies have completed shooting on the dramatic thriller Monumental. This title is expected to release in 2014 and the film stars Luke Albright (The Dyatlov Pass Incident). As well, The Devil's Double actor Mem Ferda will act as associate producer, on the film.

Monumental follows two lifelong friends, Steve (Gary Cairns) and Clayne (Albright). Together, they travel the United States, while spreading the ashes of Steve's recently deceased mother. They visit some of the many monuments, which Steve's mom hoped to visit during her lifetime.

The first film poster for Monumental is here. The graphic shows Steve and Clayne on the open road in Nevada or Arizona. And, the film will offer a few challenges along the way. Can they survive the trip with their lives, friendships and families intact?

The film will have a strong emotional undercurrent. Producer Ferda describes the tone of the film: "this is an emotionally charged film. The story is very moving and it really explores human relationships at a depth that is not often seen in film." More cast and crew details for Monumental are below.
