This Trailer for Brandon Cronenberg's Antiviral Infects Blood and Bone

Will Brandon Cronenberg, David Cronenberg's son, follow in his father's blood soaked footsteps? The trailer for Antiviral says that indeed he will. The clip shows all sorts of body transformations as Syd March (Caleb Landry Jones) deliberately infects himself with a fatal disease from a famous celebrity. In an alternate reality, infections from celebrities offer big profits from a deluded populace.

The trailer for Antiviral is disturbing. Cronenberg plays on viewers' fears of infection and disease in what will certainly be a must-see for 2012. Antiviral releases later this year.

Release Date: October 12th (Theatrical).
