Douglas Aarniokoski's The Day Shows Blackhats in the Mist: Official Trailer

The Day is a post-apocalyptic thriller starring Shawn Ashmore (X-Men), Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism), Michael Eklund (Watchmen), Cory Hardrict (Battle Los Angeles), Dominic Monaghan (“Lost”), and Shannyn Sossamon. Recently, The Day was acquired by WWE Studios for release in theatres August 29th. Now, the film's official trailer has been launched.

In this second trailer, there are a few additions. This reel is longer overall. Also, in the clip, the antagonists are shown for the first time. Some are hidden behind masks while others are armed and leering. Dozens of villains show in the final few frames and fans of the post-apocalyptic genre will want to take a look below. Then, support the film late in August as The Day shows in a limited theatrical run.
