The Entitled A Look at Early Reactions

The Entitled is a film of tough times e.g. recession, medical expenses. Kevin Zegers plays Paul, a man driven to desperate measures when his mom needs expensive medication. Unable to find a job, Paul recruits two of his friends to kidnap three socialites, The Entitled.

This title recently released on DVD and Blu-Ray and one of the first reviews is in. Matt Paprocki of Do Blue has mentioned the "morality play" and "false tension." It seems The Entitled has missed its mark (review below), but understanding a film from one review is not enough.

The trailer seems to promise some excitement, along a dusty road. It is here where the three socialites are kidnapped right out of their sports car. The ransom is $3 million and the fathers of the kidnapped look ready to pay. But events rarely go well in film, right? It seems the turn in action is what has partially sunk this film, based on the one review available. Hopefully thriller fans have seen this title and can also inform us on what to expect from this stylish looking crime thriller. Have a look of the trailer for The Entitled, below.
