Indie Science Fiction Alert: Dark Metropolis with the First Trailer and Release Date

Dark Metropolis is a film from Indican Pictures, which is releasing November 16th on DVD. In a science fiction vein, Dark Metropolis envisions a world where genetic mutation is commonplace and where man is now subjugated by a genetically superior form of himself. The first trailer for this feature is available below and the clip shows a world 500 years in the future.

The synopsis of Dark Metropolis here:

"Mankind has lost a 300-year war against a genetically enhanced race that man created, abused, and finally tortured. Now the descendants of that race - known as 'Ghen;' control planet Earth. An entire new universe has risen inside the remnants of our world. Humans work the surface as factory slaves in the New World Order, with pockets of resistance carrying on the freedom fight. As rising Ghen politician Crecilius Pryme takes power he urges his people to annihilate the remaining human population unleashing a shocking secret that will change the world forever" (Indican).


Release Date: December 7th (DVD).

Cast: Bailey Chase, Eric Scott Woods, Arthur Roberts, and Ron Perlman.
