AFM 2010: The Asylum Brings Tales of Doom with 2012: Ice Age

Oh no, The Asylum has merged Roland Emmerich's 2012 with Emmerich's other film The Day After Tomorrow, in one low budget venture. The Asylum seems to have focused on 2012 as the doom for us all with other titles beginning with this year. 2012: Doomsday, 2012: Supernova, and now 2012: Ice Age each predict disaster for humanity! This film is currently at the American Film Market and in pre-production. Check out the synopsis for this feature, which predicts Mt. Fuji to unleash terror shortly and expect this film to release in 2011. A few more details below.

The synopsis for 2012: Ice Age:

"The eruption of Mt Fuji--a 'Supervolcano' - covers the earth in choking clouds. Humanity hurtles toward extinction, as a group of scientists fights to break the grip of the new ice age" (AFM).

Completion Year: 2011 (No Release Date Officially Announced).

Producers: David Michael Latt, David Rimawi, and Paul Bales.
