Michael Allen
A new unrated Red Band trailer is showing for Adam Green's Hatchet 2. In the clip "buckets of blood" (Hatchet) cover the screen, as Victor Crowley goes about his vicious work. The trailer promises the most gore of any slasher film and a half dozen characters are incapacitated in various brutal ways in this two minute clip. Get set for Crowley to prowl the dark bayous October 1st through a limited theatrical release.
The synopsis for Hatchet 2 here:
"Picking up right where the splatter-tastic original ended, Marybeth escapes the clutches of the deformed, swamp-dwelling iconic killer Victor Crowley. After learning the truth about her family’s connection to the hatchet-wielding madman, Marybeth returns to the Louisiana swamps along with an army of hunters to recover the bodies of her family and exact the bloodiest revenge against the bayou butcher" (28DLA).
Release Date: October 1st, 2010 (Theatre).
