The remake of the 1978 film Day of the Woman aka I Spit on Your Grave will have a limited theatrical launch October 8th and to satisfy horror fans interest in the project another clip is available. In the short film, Jennifer meets three men who will later torture and rape her, until the tables are turned and the "victim has become the victor" (Romano). As well, a new unrated poster is available, which is only minutely different than the previous, with the title: "unrated" added. However, there is an updated synopsis available, which can be found below.
A synopsis for I Spit on Your Grave:
"A beautiful woman from the city, Jennifer Hills, rents an isolated cabin in the country to write her latest novel. Soon, a group of local lowlifes subject Jennifer to a nightmare of degradation, rape and violence. Left for dead, she returns for vengeance. Trapping her male attackers one-by-one, she inflicts acts of physical torment upon them with a ferocity that surpasses her own ordeal. When the carnage clears, victim has become victor" (Romano).
Release Date: October 8th (Limited).
Director: Steven R. Monroe.
Cast: Daniel Franzese, Chad Lindberg, Rodney Eastman, Sarah Butler, Jeff Branson, Saxon Sharbino, Tracey Walter and Andrew Howard.
