Saw 3D aka Saw VII is chugging along nicely to a pushed back release date of October 29th (Shock). According to the film's producer, Oren Koules, this is the franchise's last film, but with box office success of the first five Saw movies grossing over $340 million this is likely a statement to draw more viewers based on scarcity principles (Rope). When there is little of something, people simply want that something more. This latest feature was shot with a special SI-3D digital camera and Lionsgate will stay true to earlier films with tricks and traps central to the film's premise. Watch the first teaser trailer for Saw VII below, which shows one man battling for his life in front of a live audience.
