Director Ritchard Herwig (Saint Christopher) is on his second feature entitled La Iglesia Negra, or The Black Church, with both pictures exploring religious themes. The Black Church involves a banished priest and a cursed church, which brings the pastor's spiritual beliefs in to question. The film is in early pre-production, but a synopsis and early concept poster can be seen here. More details to come.

"The Black Church is a psychological horror film that follows a priest, Miguel, who after being banished to a desolate parish in a dusty, Mexican village; finds himself gradually descending into the dark history of the cursed church that has claimed the sanity and lives of the priests that came before him" (The Black).
