Vamped Out in Hollywood Friday Nite!

Some details are filtering in on a premiere of Kevin Pollack's comedy series Vamped Out. The series will premiere this Monday on the Comedy Channel and there is a red carpet event for Vamped Out tomorrow night. Pollack (Usual Suspects) also stars in this project along with Jason Antoon (Minority Report), Samm Levine (Inglorious Basterds), and Seana Kofoed ("Men in Trees"). The series involves a director who goes missing while filming a mysterious vampire (funny how that happens). Then the episodes follow a struggling vampire turned actor as he tries to make a living in a competitive Los Angeles horror film market. Fans of thrillers or comedies can check out the other details on Vamped Out here, while press in the Hollywood area will want to check out the premiere tomorrow nite.

"'Vamped Out' is a weekly series taken from a documentary by award-winning filmmaker Elliot Finke (Pollak). During the spring and summer of 2009, Elliot shot what he believed was the first documentary of an actual vampire. While in postproduction, he went missing. The series follows a modern day 35-year-old struggling actor/Vampire (Antoon) trying to make a living in Los Angeles. Pollak follows the Vampire as he continuously gets rejected for the role he was literally born to play" (Babelgum).
