The Uninhabited's Second One Sheet and Graveyard Photo

In case you are unfamiliar, the Uninhabited is a film that will be releasing in Australia later this year (2010). The film will also play Cannes and director Bill Bennett has been gracious enough to stop by the site here on 28DLA with some comments on the "inspired by actual events" tag that has been placed on the film. Bill has said of the Uninhabited and the truth behind the story that: "[the plot] comes from my staying on a remote coral island..., and finding a grave and an abandoned shack and a visitors journal with references to a ghost, as per the movie" (Bennett). After some digging, the actual grave that Bennett is referring to can be seen below. Also available is a second one-sheet seen left, which paints the film in bloodier colours; dark eyes can be seen peering above an injured woman who is screaming in pain, or fear in the center of shot. Have a look at both and decide which one you like better (International poster for Uninhabited here).

The plot summary for Uninhabited:

"A young couple's deserted, coral island paradise getaway becomes a living hell when they discover that the island harbours something a long time dead, and it really doesn’t want them there" (Uninhabited).
