Machete's Release Date Confirmed as September 3rd

This is the moment you have all been waiting for; Machete will release September 3 via Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis's direction (Bloody). First shown during Grindhouse as a spoof trailer, fans of the character Machete have called for a feature length film and Rodriguez has answered. In case you are not familiar, Machete is a Mexican Federale on the run from a failed assassination attempt. Bullets will fly and corrupt senators will pay until Machete finds satisfaction at the end of a blade. "The highly skilled Federale Machete is hired by some unsavory types to assassinate a senator. But just as he's about to take the shot, he notices someone aiming at him and realizes he's been set up. He barely survives the sniper's bullet, and is soon out for revenge on his former employers, with the reluctant assistance of his old friend Cheech Marin, who has become a priest and taken a vow of nonviolence.
