IFC Films Picks up Crime Thriller Under Still Waters

Under Still Waters is a film from Carolyn Miller that was picked up by IFC Films for their video on demand feature since April 23rd. The film involves at least one love triangle that goes wrong as each character hopes to outwit, or manipulate the other for love and money. The film was completed in 2008 and stars Jason Clarke (Death Race), Lake Bell (Over Her Dead Body), and Clifton Collins Jr. (Mindhunters). A synopsis for the film:

"Charlie and her husband Andrew head to her family’s remote hunting lodge to escape the pressures of daily life. She has turned to alcohol to cope with her infertility and he is unable to find a job without the help of Charlie’s rich and powerful father. On their way, Andrew runs a stranger off the side of the road. Scratched and startled, the mysterious man is invited back to the cabin until help can be arranged. At the lodge, dark secrets come to light about all three that put the marriage—and their lives—in danger" (IFC).
