Cut the Strings on Your Puppet Master: Axis of Evil DVD June 15th

The Puppet Master series has spawned at least eight sequels with Puppet Master: Axis of Evil the latest. Filmed in China, this film will be releasing onto both DVD and Blu-Ray formats June 15th. This latest in the series puts characters into the "height of World War II" where Danny must use his "living deadly Puppets" to defend an American manufacturing plant (Trailer). The trailer below shows the various attack skills of the puppets and while the clip is mysteriously absent of characterized audio this preview will show you why miniature figurines can be something from nightmares. Expect to see more of these films as the Puppet Master series seems even more virulent than the similar Child's Play films.

A synopsis for Puppet Master: Axis of Evil here:

"In a stateside hotel during the height of World War II, young Danny Coogan dreams of joining the war effort. Following the murder of hotel guest Mr. Toulon by Nazi assassins, Danny finds the old man's crate of mysterious Puppets and is suddenly thrust into a battle all his own. He discovers that Nazis Max and Klaus, along with beautiful Japanese sabateur Ozu, plan to attack a secret American manufacturing plant. After his family is attacked and his girlfriend Beth is kidnapped, it is up to Danny and the living deadly Puppets to stop this Axis of Evil" (Trailer).
