A Corpse is Reborn in Keith Thomas' The Vigil this February 26th

Tagline: "He Did Not Leave You."

The Vigil is a horror movie steeped in Jewish tradition. Set in Brooklyn, Yakov offers to spend the night with a corpse, to ward off evil. But, this ancient practice leads to the discovery of a demonic force. As well, this title is from director Keith Thomas (Arkane) and stars: Dave Davis ("The Walking Dead"), Malky Goldman (The Alien), Menashe Lustig and Lynn Cohen. The trailer shows Yakov (Davis) with the body under a sheet. Strange events take place as this character confronts a sinister evil.

IFC Midnight will show The Vigil this February 26th. On this date, this thriller will be available across the United States, with the film set to show in more territories soon.
