Filmmakers Jon Silverberg, Mem Ferda and More Bring Thriller Woodland to Japanese Theatres this Month

Tagline: "Even at the edge of the world, you can't escape your demons."

Woodland is a thriller from director and producer Jon Silverberg. This title is set in 1989 at a wilderness lodge. Here, Jake struggles with addiction and his photojournalist career. As he develops his latest photos, Jake begins to see disturbing premonitions for his future. As well, this feature was co-produced by: Mem Ferda (The Devil's Double), Meghan Brush, Desmond Chen and several others. An award winning film, this title continues to release internationally with a recent showing in Japanese theatres, this past October 16th.

Woodland showed in film festivals throughout 2018. At these festivals, Woodland won "Best Supporting Performance (Philip Granger)," "Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking (Editing, Jon Silverberg)" and several others. Having received several awards, this title continues to release across the world.

Silverberg's latest has been showing throughout Japan, in several theatres. A film about both Jake's future and his past, Woodland is sure to show in more countries, throughout this year and into the next. The film's official U.S. trailer is below.
