Los Angeles Set Crime Thriller Crown Vic Gets a New Trailer Ahead of a November 8th Theatrical Release

Tagline: "Right and Wrong Isn't Always Black and White."

Crown Vic has a new trailer, from Screen Media Films. The clip shows an almost unrecognizable Thomas Jane (The Punisher, 2004) as a corrupt cop, working the violent streets of Los Angeles. Actor Luke Kleintank plays his fellow police officer, Nick Holland. The film follows both cops, on the streets, over the course of one night. Very much a crime thriller, Crown Vic had its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. Also starring David Krumholtz, Bridget Moynahan and Gregg Bello - this title will begin a limited theatrical across the United States, this November. The film's title is a reference to the well known police car, the Ford Crown Victoria. This vehicle was discontinued several years ago (in 2011) by police departments, in favour of different models. So, the film is likely set in the early to mid-2000s.

The trailer shows officers Mandel and Holland cruising the city streets. Violence is all around as the rookie officer becomes overwhelmed by what he sees. A veteran to the force, Mandel has his own, brutal way of dealing with the lost souls in the city.

Crown Vic will begin its theatrical run this November 8th. On this date, the film will show in New York City. This initial showing will be followed by more in: Atlanta, Austin, Boston and several other U.S. cities. A home entertainment release will surely take place shortly after the theatrical run.
