Back in April, a teaser trailer was released for Tom Nagel's (Clowntown) The Toybox. Now, a second trailer has been released, which shows more footage. As well, an official release date has been announced for this supernatural thriller. In The Toybox, a family heads out into the desert, for a vacation. They pick up two more characters along the way. And, events take a strange turn when their recreational vehicle breaks down. Also, The Toybox stars: Denise Richards (Valentine, 2001), Mischa Barton (L.A. Slasher), Katie Keene (Inoperable), Jeff Denton and Matt Mercer. The film's second trailer and early order details are available here.
The Toybox recently had its World Premiere at the Texas Frightmare Weekend. Here, the film received some praise from critics. Now, the film is set to show on DVD and Blu-ray formats in September. This home entertainment release will be followed by another, on Digital platforms, this September 18th.
The DVDs and Blu-rays are available for pre-orders now. The early, Limited Edition version includes a poster and a few special features (commentary with cast and crew, behind-the-scenes). As well, pre-orders are available at 50%, according to The Toybox social media pages. All of the order details are below, through Skyline Entertainment.
