Stephen King's "Castle Rock" to Bring 10 Terrifying Episodes to Hulu this July 25th: Series Trailer

Hulu has completed production on the Stephen King written "Castle Rock." This production is a series, with ten episodes expected to run in Season 1. "Castle Rock" was executive produced by J.J. Abrams. The series was also created by Sam Shaw ("Manhattan") and Dustin Thomason. Interestingly, actor Bill Skarsgård stars in this original show. Skarsgård also starred in the recent release of King's It (2017). Sissy Spacek, Melanie Lynskey and Scott Glen also star. A new trailer has just been released for the series and the clip can be found here.

The synopsis blends several Stephen King characters, in a "multiverse." Fans of King will be familiar with Castle Rock, a town which often appears in his works (Cujo, The Dark Half, It). To weave an epic tale of darkness and light, much of the series will take place in and around a Maine woodland. Billed as a suspense thriller, the full length trailer teases what lies in store for fans of King and his many works.

As well, "Castle Rock" was developed by Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The series will show its first episode this July 25th. The initial episode is title "Severance." "Habeas Corpus," "Local Color" and "The Box" are a few episodes which will follow the premiere. At least three episodes will show on the July 25th premiere date.
