Lionsgate to Release Beyond Re-Animator on Blu-ray as a Special Edition

Lionsgate will show Brian Yuzna's (The Dentist, 1996) Beyond Re-Animator on Blu-ray, this July. This latest version will be a limited edition Blu-ray, with lots of new special features. Part of the Vestron Video Collector Series, this third film in the series stars Jeffrey Combs (The Frighteners) as Dr. Herbert West. In prison, West teams up with another doctor. The results of their experiments turn the prison into a hellish monster factory. The film also stars: Jason Barry ("Sons of Anarchy"), Elsa Pataky (Fast & Furious 6) and Javier Sandoval (Dagon). The new special features are numerous. The latest extras include: interviews with director Yuzna and actor Combs, isolated score selections and a production art gallery by illustrator Richard Raaphorst.
