The Hurricane Heist Brings 600 MPH Winds and a Treasury Hold-up to Theatres Today

The Hurricane Heist is an action thriller. From The Fast and The Furious (2001) director Rob Cohen, the film takes place during a Category 5 hurricane strike. The winds push at 600 mph, while a team of hackers take down a $600 million dollar haul. The Hurricane Heist is playing in theatres, throughout the United States and in Canada, today (March 9th). The film was shot in Bulgaria. And, the film stars: Maggie Grace ("Lost"), Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Ryan Kwanten, Ralph Ineson, Randy Couture and many others. For more on the story, several robbers target a U.S. mint facility. Using the hurricane as cover, they infiltrate the location and take off with the cash. But, the escape will not be easy as deadly winds hit the coast.

The official trailer shows some of those winds. They barrel down on anything and everyone in their path. Cars are flipped, while big rigs struggle to stay on the ground.
