The Neighbor Wants to Show You All of the Gory Details in this Trailer

Tagline: "Fear thy Neighbor."

Director Marcus Dunstan (The Collector) and actor Josh Stewart re-team for The Neighbor. This mysterious thriller focuses on three characters: John (Stewart), Rosie (Alex Essoe) and Troy (Bill Engvall). When Rosie goes missing, John suspects his neighbor, Troy. The film is slated for a September release, via Anchor Bay Entertainment. In September, the film will be available on DVD and Video-on-demand. A trailer for The Neighbor is hosted here.

An official synopsis is fairly revealing (spoilers ahead). In Cutter, Mississippi, John is searching for his girlfriend Rosie. He finds her at his neighbor's home, along with several other people. Now, John must lead everyone one of this torturous dungeon.

It is strange to see a film reveal so much, so early. Sometimes, a better marketing strategy is leaving something to the viewer's imagination. Both the synopsis and the trailer reveal major plot points and much of the film's story is shown in the clip. No guesses nor deduction is required as The Neighbor moves ahead to its September 6th, 2016 release date.

Release Date: September 6, 2016 (DVD).

Director: Marcus Dunstan.

Writers: Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton.

Cast: Josh Stewart, Luke Edwards, Alex Essoe and Ronnie Gene Blevins.
