A few details have emerged for director Pearry Teo's (Necromentia) The Curse of Sleeping Beauty. This title was picked up by XLRator Media for a theatrical release, which takes place in mid-May. Based on the Brother Grimm's tale titled "Little Briar Rose," the film appears as a dark fantasy tale. All of the details on The Curse of Sleeping Beauty are here.

From the official synopsis, Thomas (Ethan Peck) inherits an ancestral home. He has also inherited an ancient curse, which is sourced back to the crusades. Burdened, Thomas turns to an ambitious realtor, Linda (Natalie Hall), and a paranormal expert, Richard (Bruce Davison), for help. But, this curse can only be lifted by rescuing Briar Rose from a deep sleep and netherworld. Here, only the most courageous or foolish dare enter.
