Patchwork will Tear You into Pieces at the Calgary Underground Film Festival!

The Canadian horror comedy Patchwork is set for its Calgary Premiere. This film, influenced by Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, tears three women apart and puts them back together again. A teaser for the film (hosted below) was released for this feature earlier in the year. The clip's music is soothing, while the images are not. From director Tyler MacIntyre, the film stars: Tory Stolper, Tracey Fairaway, Maria Blasucci and James Phelps. Playing at several upcoming showings, a preview of Patchwork's Calgary release is hosted here.

The film calls itself a "throw-back" horror-comedy. Likely influenced by the low-brow comedies of the '80s, three women find themselves sewn to each other, after a wild night of partying. Now, they must work together, in one body, or lose what little remains of themselves.

The Calgarian event takes place on April 16th, 2016. Director Tyler MacIntyre will be in attendance and Calgarians should head out to the theatre, to support this intriguing horror thriller. More details on this upcoming event are available below, including the film's latest trailer.

Release Date: April 16th, 2016 (Limited Theatrical, Calgary).

Director: Tyler MacIntyre.

Writers: Tyler MacIntyre and Chris Lee Hill.

Cast: Tory Stolper, Tracey Fairaway, Maria Blasucci and James Phelps.
