Say Hello to the Bye Bye Man with this First Still

STX Entertainment has developed the horror film Bye Bye Man. Developed from the short story "The Bridge to Body Island," Bye Bye Man involves three college students and a sinister spirit. The film is slated for a Summer release, in theatres. And, the first photos from the film were released earlier this month. One of the stills can be seen above. As well, the film stars: Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Faye Dunaway, Douglas Smith, Cressida Bonas, Lucien Laviscount and Douglas Jones. A trailer is still forthcoming. From the official synopsis, a spiritual serial killer is killing those who have discovered his name. Now, three friends, who have discovered his title, must save others from discovering him, while trying to preserve their own lives. But, the Bye Bye Man will not be forgotten so easily.

The first still from the film apparently shows the Bye Bye Man. He looks to be immersed in a series of books, in a library. Hooded and sinister, this villain will be unleashed on June 3rd, in several theatres.
