You Can Take the Elevator to the Top and Over the Edge with this High Rise Trailer

Production on the surreal thriller High Rise has completed. From director Ben Wheatley (Kill List), the film is set in 1975. Here, a doctor goes about his soulless life, until his new apartment building begins to act strangely. Social norms are replaced by terror. And, the film has an A-list cast; Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller and Luke Evans star. And now, the film's first unsettling trailer is available here.

The synopsis from Studiocanal paints a bizarre picture. Dr. Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) does his best to be neighbourly, in his new residence. Soon, the lights go out and Laing begins to see the residents' real personalities. Drug and booze fueled, Laing must find his place in all of the insanity.

High Rise is based on J.G. Ballard's novel. Originally published in 1975, the novel centers on a luxury apartment and all of its secrets. More on the film is hosted below.
