Der Nachtmarh Comes at Night and Never Leaves: First Trailer

Der Nachtmarh (The Nightmare) is a horror film from Germany. From first time director Akiz, this German language film involves a young girl and her strange visions, of a small creature. Recently, a trailer for the film has been released. The clip develops the story further as Tina (Carolyn Genzkow) is ostracized for her stories of the monster. The English subbed trailer is hosted below.

From the synopsis, Tina is struggling through her teenage years. Coming-of-age, Tina enjoys partying late into the night. But, something malicious wants to party with her. This uninvited guest plagues Tina and her friends question her sanity. Then, Tina moves farther away from reality, while choosing to befriend her near-invisible and deformed companion.

Fans of horror can preview the creature. It is shown in the trailer at just past the one-minute mark. Its greyish skin looks almost translucent. As well, at the film's official website, creature designs show the monster's short stature. A picture of the creature is also hosted below. And, it looks near two feet tall, only. A release date for the film is forthcoming; but, fans of horror can preview this international film here.
