An Extinction Level Event Takes Place in this Thrilling First Trailer

A trailer for Extinction has been released. This post-apocalyptic feature focuses on a worldwide infection and the few survivors who remain. Extinction stars Matthew Fox ("Lost"), Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Quinn McGolgan and Valeria Vereau. In the trailer, a snowy refuge remains safe for only so long. Fans of PA, or of horror are invited to take a look below.

Events take place nine years after an infection. Rabid creatures roam the lands, but there is some light in the darkness. Patrick (Fox), Jack (Donovan) and Lu find peace, in the small town of Harmony. But then, the infection comes knocking.

The film is reminiscent of another, The Colony (2013). Both films take place in a snowy clime, which is just as threatening as the creatures. As well, both films are set in a peaceful eye of the storm, a refuge in a dangerous environment. However, there is no safety in horror, nor in a zombie apocalypse. As well, both films deal with malicious and aggressive beasts. Fans can make their own comparisons with Extinction to other films, or see Extinction as a stand-alone feature, with this exciting first trailer.
