You Can Face the Zombies Hordes with this Clip for Wyrmwood

The Australian shot Wyrmwood recently premiered at Fantastic Fest. This zombie thriller involves kidnapping and experiments gone wrong. A second film clip has been released for the film, which can be found here. As well, Wyrmwood stars Jay Gallagher, Bianca Bradley and Leon Burchill. In the zombie apocalypse, Barry's (Jay Gallagher) life disassembles when his sister is kidnapped. Barry searches for her, while teaming up with another survivor, Benny (Leon Burchill). Together they roam through the undead wasteland, where one wrong turn could be their last.

Wyrmwood has received positive reviews from Fantastic Fest. From Twitch Film, Peter Martin likes the blend of genres: "wildly apocalyptic with dollops of silliness." The apocalypse is about more than just survival. Rochefort of Quiet Earth also liked the film's use of comedy: "it does a great job of channeling that film’s fusion of black comedy and over-the-top bloodletting. So, the film is a solid blend of action and comedy, which will satisfy most zombie film fans. A release date for the film is coming soon.
