Andrew Robertson's Post-apocalyptic Thriller Refuge to Show at Screamfest LA

Several films will attend this year's Screamfest LA. One of those titles is Refuge, which is one part John Hillcoat's The Road (2009) and one part Douglas Aarniokoski's The Day (2011). This post-apocalyptic title will have its Los Angeles debut this October 16th, 2014. The film stars Sebastian Beacon, Chris Kies and Carter Roy. A preview for the film's launch is here.

Plot details involve a devastated America. A catastrophe has ruined civilization and raiders roam the roads. One family struggles to survive, while hoping to find shelter at a nearby mansion. A gang of looters and robbers lie in between them and their refuge.

The trailer for Refuge is hosted below. The clip shows the family hiding in a dilapidated home. When a group of killers finds them, they must fight to stay alive. Full of violence, the clip is available past the break.

Release Date: October 18th, 2014 (Limited Theatrical).
