A Chilling First Trailer for Cub is Here!

It has been awhile since something scary has crossed this horror fan's desk. The first trailer from Jonas Govaerts' Belgium film Cub is eerily creepy (lighting, characters). Also known as Welp, this title is mostly shot at night. In the film's first trailer, a feral child makes quick work of a cub scout group and its leaders. The clip houses a bit of mystery as the film's central villain uses tricks and traps, to quarry its prey. The full trailer for Cub is below.

The story begins with the protagonist Sam (Maurice Luitjen). Sam has a vivid imagination. So, when Sam sees a strange child in the surrounding forest, others are quick to laugh and ridicule him. But, as the bodies turn up, Sam's reports of a killer kid become more and more real. Poachers, pits and psychopaths lie in the undergrowth.

Cub will release in Europe later this year. A release in North America is not forthcoming, as of yet. Hopefully, Cub will be picked up by more territories as the film promises a few ghoulish delights. Fans of horror can preview the film below.
