Annabelle Moves In with Murderous Intentions: First Trailer

Dolls have been used as killers in horror for quite some time. The Child's Play series of films has spawned at least five movies. As well, the Puppet Master horror franchise has involved several sequels. Now, exceptional director James Wan is producing a spin-off of the haunted house thriller The Conjuring. The spin-off is titled Annabelle and the feature involves one of the set pieces, from this 2013 film. This haunted device is bought by a husband for his wife, but the doll brings something malevolent along with it, too. The film's first trailer is hosted below.

The clip shows the husband with a large gift. The gift is an ugly looking doll, which the wife, strangely, adores. Bizarre events begin to occur next door and this ever-smiling figurine might be the culprit.

Annabelle will see theatres October 3rd, 2014. Warner Bros. will be hosting the release and fans of horror can preview the launch below. Murder and mayhem await in the film's first trailer.
