The Woods Foreshadows Death in this Early Film Poster

Corin Hardy will make his directorial debut with the horror title The Woods. This title is in production and filming will take place somewhere in the Green Isles (Ireland). Hardy's film will be a creature feature, in which a conservationist is confronted by hostile townsfolk. Joseph Mawle (The Awakening) and Bojana Novakovic (Devil) will star. And now, an early movie poster is available for the film.

The film's story focuses on Adam. Adam sets off into the local Irish woods, on a surveying job; he takes his family along with him. The locals warn Adam of creatures, stalking the night. But, this ancient folklore does not deter Adam, nor his work. And soon, he is confronted by vicious beings, which emerge from the darkest patches of forest. Adam's surveying days might be coming to an end, forever.

The Woods is being developed by both Occupant Entertainment and Fantastic Films. These production companies will search for distribution, in 2015, once the film is completed. Fans of indie horror can stare into the eye sockets of a skull, in the film's first movie poster, which is shown above.
