Reality is Skewed in William Eubank's The Signal

Director William Eubank (Love) is helming the sci-fi thriller The Signal. This spectacular looking film was written by a trio of writers: Carlyle Eubank, William Eubank and David Frigerio. This trio have created a strange reality, in which three college students find themselves in a security web, in an isolated locale. The Signal stars Sarah Clarke ("24"), Olivia Cooke ("Bates Motel"), Laurence Fishburne, Jeffrey Grover and Beau Knapp. The film's first trailer is here!

The story for the film is somewhat vague. However, three friends begin a short road trip. Their trip finds a detour, in the form of a computer hacker. Soon, all of the characters end up in a very slippery version of consciousness, which turns into a living nightmare.

The Signal had a recent appearance at the Sundance Film Festival (Jan., 2014). The film will also see theatres in North America this Summer, June 13th, 2014. Fans of sci-fi, horror or thrillers will want to check out the film's official trailer before seeing this title on the big screen.
