Ti West's The Sacrament Emerges from the Jungle in this First Trailer

The Sacrament is a cult film in more ways than one. This title, from director Ti West (The House of the Devil) and producer Eli Roth (Aftershock), is based on the real life person Jim Jones and his following. From glasses to locale, the screenplay is heavily influenced by this murderous monster. Now, fans of history or of horror can see Jim Jones brought to the little screen, with the film's first trailer (Red Band).

The story begins with a journalist in search of his missing sister. He tracks her down to a commune, in the middle of nowhere. Here, the Father rules his roost and once you are in the cult, you cannot leave.!

The first trailer for the film shows several of the films characters. Jake (Joe Swanberg) and Sam (AJ Bowen), the two journalists, are shown prominently and so is the Father (Gene Jones). Proceed a head for an early look of The Sacrament.
